Collin and Lisa Minshull are the owners and breeders.  We got our first Havanese, Bella, in 2016 and ever since our whole family has been involved in training, breeding, grooming and showing our Havanese. Our dogs live in our home with us, and are part of the family. The sweet temper of the Havanese and their amazing ability to be companions is what won us over, and we are committed to preserving this temperament in these beautiful little dogs!

We’re in the process of changing our name from Emerald East Havanese to Green Gables Havanese! For many years we’ve worked with our mentor in Seattle, but we’re ready to be on our own, so it’s time for our own name! Green Gables describes our home in Minnesota, so it’s a fitting name for our kennel. We’re still the same people, breeding the same adorable puppies, so no changes there!
